    A MULTI MILLION pound bid for Government funding for cash to improve traffic flows on and around Weston-super-Mare's M5 motorway junction has been approved by councillors.     Work is scheduled this month on three road schemes in North Somerset costing nearly half a million pounds. A £60,000 road-resurfacing scheme in Portishead started on September 17 at Valley Road between the junction with Down Road and Weatherly Drive.
